Gold Coast Innovation Centre

The Gold Coast Innovation Centre ia business technology incubator facility established in partnership with State Government and Griffith University to support the growth of new businesses for the Gold Coasts knowledge based industries.

It is anticipated that successful incubatees will provide direct economic benefits to the Gold Coast from commercialisation activities within a broad range of industries including health & medical, biotechnology, ICT, energy and environmental areas.

The Gold Coast Innovation Centre is managed by an independent Board with CEO Andrew Loch, managing the centres operations and development.

There are currently 19 businesses signed up with the Gold Coast Innovation Centre – 8 are physically located within the facility and 11 are virtual incubates. The Gold Coast Innovation Centre have graduated 9 companies since the incubator facility was established.

Services the companies have access to include business support (desks, phone, internet, photocopier, board mtg room), pro-active and focussed mentoring and business growth advise & direction, assistance to become investor ready, access to a specialised Gold Coast Innovation Centre Advisory Panel, business mentoring and workshops.
