Located in the Economic Development & Major Projects Directorate, Business Gold Coast is the economic development agency for Australia's Gold Coast City.  

An initiative of the Gold Coast City Council, Business Gold Coast aims to encourage the development of a diverse and knowledge intensive competitive economy. This is achieved by working with key industry sectors to attract new business and investment, developing new export markets and delivering programs to build local competitiveness.
