Gold Coast City Council established Connecting Southern Gold Coast to foster economic development and growth in the southern Gold Coast area. The southern Gold Coast includes Currumbin, Currumbin Valley, Currumbin Waters, Tugun, Bilinga, Kirra, Coolangatta and Rainbow Bay.

 Surfers Paradise Alliance
As the official marketing authority for Surfers Paradise, Surfers Paradise Alliance  is focussed on rejuvenating and enhancing the precinct. Their goals are increasing visitation, enhancing the visitor experience and marketing.
They work with 700 businesses, alongside private investors and Gold Coast City Council.

Broadbeach Alliance
Broadbeach Alliance manages and promotes Broadbeach. With the assistance of their
board and Gold Coast City Council, Broadbeach Alliance work closely with all Broadbeach businesses, accommodation operators and residents. They area also responsible for creating and managing events, such as Blues on Broadbeach which has been held since 2002.
