Business Gold Coast is Gold Coast City Council's Economic Development branch that facilitates the growth of key industries through its 2020 Economic Development Strategy.
 
We understand the needs of business and partner with potential investors to create business opportunities, facilitate access to funding, assist with location selection and generate networking connections. 

We also provide free, confidential and comprehensive advice on potential markets, customers, suppliers, infrastructure and services to ensure investors have all the tools needed for success.

Through the facilitation of both outbound and inbound trade delegations in collaboration with Austrade’s TradeStart program, Business Gold Coast also works to assist local business partners enter into international markets through a range of services under an International Trade and Investment Program.

With the help of Business Gold Coast, international and domestic business can tap into Gold Coast City industry, suppliers and markets quickly and efficiently.

Geographically, the city is ideally placed to attract global business. Situated on the edge of the Asia Pacific Rim, Gold Coast City has a similar time zone to that of the major trading nations in Southeast Asia.
