Food and Wine Trails
Business Gold Coast has identified a series of key industries that are crucial to the vitality and strength of the Gold Coast’s economy and future prosperity.
They include tourism and the food and wine industry.
The promotion of local food and wine production as a tourism-related activity enhances the Gold Coast’s economy.
At the very heart of this promotion is the establishment of two food and wine trails that include a number of business enterprises where visitors can enjoy a distinctive learning and tasting experience.
The Hinterland Food and Wine Trail follows a scenic inland route, while the Pacific Food and Wine Trail runs from Yatala in the north of the city to Murwillumbah, across the border into New South Wales.
It is expected that increasing visitor participation in the food and wine trails will result in additional businesses joining in the initiative.
