Helensvale Planning

The Local Area Plan (LAP) divides the area into three land use precincts.

These precincts promote the economic growth and vitality of the area. Preferred land uses within the Town Centre LAP area include retail, commercial,  entertainment (inclusive of cafes, restaurants and kerbside dining), educational development, community and recreation uses, small scale service industry, bulky goods retailing, and residential uses.

Helensvale is the focus of significant government infrastructure investment and it is intended that private investment and the location of diverse facilities and services in the Helensvale Town Centre will complement this infrastructure.
