Professor Bill Caelli, AO will lead a discussion panel on the question as to whether or not Australia is ready for cyber-attack on its fast developing digital economy. The outcomes from the board meeting and conference of the USA’s “Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education” held in June in Orlando, Florida will form a basis for analysis of the situation in such English speaking Western economies as Australia and the USA.
The main focus will be on whether or not Australia, as well as the USA, has put in place and supported the education and training facilities needed to develop the ICT professionals needed to address the cyber challenges of the second decade of the 21st century.
