Bond University presents COMPUTER SCIENCE!
Monday 2^nd July
10:30am-12pm
Cost: $10        
Venue: Bond University                               
STRICTLY AGES 11 – 14yrs.

Students will participate in various activities which introduce them to
concepts in Computer Science. These activities are jargon free and do
not involve the use of a computer.

Griffith University presents  KITCHEN CHEMISTRY
Tuesday 3^rd July
10:30am -12:30pm and 1pm – 3pm
Cost: $10        
Venue: Burleigh State School                     
AGES 7 – 10 yrs

Students investigate chemistry in the kitchen to produce bouncy balls, extract DNA from living cells, and make small acid/base propelled rockets. 

Gold Coast TechSpace presents  ROBOTICS with Lego Mindstorms
Wednesday 4^th July
10:30 – 12pm and 1pm -2:30pm
Cost: $15        
Venue: GC TechSpace 3b/51 Johnston St, Southport       
AGES 11-14yrs

Get started in Robotics with Lego Mindstorms. This session will introduce you how to create your own robot using Mindstorms kits from Lego. The session involves construction and programming of a robot, anything from a car to a ball sorter. You can have a look through the standard designs for something to build or invent your own - then use the Lego software to write a program to control your design. Work on your own or team up with others from the class, either way you are sure to get a good start in Robotics and have a lot of fun.
