Local schools participate in a two-day event Griffith Health Experience

The Go health Go Griffith experience has just been presented to over 100 YR 10 students form across the state.  Students came form as far as Nanango and Lismore and many from right are here on the Gold Coast.

This two day experience showcases the health professions  and medical sciences. This innovative program enables students to participate in workshops that are directly related to science, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, public and environmental health, human and social services and exercise sciences. The students  are taught by health professionals , senior academics, medical scientists and and mentors.

The sessions were highly successful with many students stating that they will now continue and add science to their subject selection for Yr 11 and 12.
The opportunity to have fun and learn about health and science was both challenging and rewarding. We look forward to seeing these budding medical and health professionals and scientist in the future.
