The TechGC program is a long term strategic program to support the growth and development of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based industries on the Gold Coast.

The TechGC program focuses on two core projects: Industry Development and Education Development. These projects are interrelated and aim to provide substantial support and development opportunities in STEM sectors over the next ten years.

Book in now to the TechGC Holiday Science Program! 16 - 20 January 2012.

Bookings for the TechGC Holiday Science Program are now open. There are a range of sessions available to 7-10yr and 11-14yr olds, which will be run at various locations around the coast. Click here to go to the event page for booking information and more details.

TechGC Science Scholarship Now Open
Second and third year students studying in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) field at a Gold Coast campus are invited to apply for the inaugural Gold Coast City Council TechGC Science Scholarship.  Applications opened on 30 September 2011.  Applications close at 4pm on 25 November 2011.  The scholarship will be awarded in February 2012. 

All applicants - Please read the 'Guidelines for Applicants' prior to completing the Application Form, fill in the 'Application Form' and include your statement of purpose and any other required documentation in the application.
