Sport Gold Coast - A high performance centre

When it comes to the perfect high performance training location Gold Coast city has an enviable reputation in Australia and around the world.

In 1996 Great Britain won a single gold medal at the Atlanta Games. In 2000, using its exclusive Gold Coast base as the platform for its Games campaign, it went on to win 12 gold medals – its best performance for 80 years. And the British Paralympic team produced a best-ever performance in Sydney, finishing second on the medal table.

Since then the number and variety of national and international sporting teams and individuals visiting Gold Coast City has continued to grow.
